Tuesday-double replacement lab, work on sunglassed project and review for almost there.
Wednesday-took almost there and completed work on sunglass project.
Thursday-reviewed almost there, worked on labs and or sunglassed project.

Week 11- (14-18 Oct.)

Monday-  4 station review student Focus on necessary topics for review of materials. One station was a PhET lab where students build molecules through computer generated simulations. Here's the website link- https://phet.colorado.edu/en/simulation/build-a-molecule

Tuesday- test on ionic and covalent bonding and nomenclature.

Wednesday-film on the chemistry of explosions PSAT exam to be administered will not see first and second blocks.

Thursday-begin section on chemical reactions and equations. We begin with how to balance chemical equations and the parts of a chemical equation. Monday-notes and discussion on properties of waves; notes and discussion about the electromagnetic spectrum and the relationships between the speed of light, frequency, wavelength and energy. Work packet assigned for homework covering topics covered and applied in class.
Tuesday- notes and discussions on calculating energy, creation and emission of photons. two short videos showing up occasion of EMS in our lives. Started briefly electron configuration
Wednesday- notes in discussion on the electron configuration and lab on emission spectroscopy.
Thursday-discuss lab and introduce sunglass project. Work in computer lab on project.
Friday- film on the deep ocean and how light affects it. Project cont.
